What to expect
Serval Wildlife is a peaceful sanctuary in the Kilimanjaro countryside, a comfortable drive from Arusha. Instead of long hours on rough park tracks, the day is spent walking among giraffes, zebras, elands, ostriches and other animals with a guide who knows each of them by name.
It is one of the easiest ways to get genuinely close to Tanzanian wildlife, which makes it a favourite for families with children, couples with a single free day, and travellers arriving or departing through Kilimanjaro International Airport.
